In the dark, a man stands tall
For the light is always at a hero’s call
His eyes open after the blindness of the world
Shutters the existence that stands before him,
From where he stands is the middle
Between a shadow and a glow.
Sparks circling all around the forest of old
Tangled in the mess of war never seen before
Though in the distance a glimmer catches thy
Eye of opportunity, a charge from the bold
As two sides to one coin freeze in time
Watching to see the story unfold.
A reflection within this tree above the rest, shows life
To a hero who will decide the tide for all to see
The beauty at hand in its shimmering might
To control ones destiny for all in the middle
Of Earth set forth to defend as is his right
In this land and all its sea.
