March has begun, and any college basketball fan knows that means one thing: March Madness!

This is the time where college playoffs begin and will continue to play all month long.

The madness is here for both of the Owens basketball teams. Starting today, the Express will continue their route into the playoffs in hopes of becoming NJCAA champions.

The men’s team will host Cuyahoga Community College for the Region XII District 11 quarterfinals tonight at 7 p.m. The Express had a regular season record of 18-12. Fourth seeded Owens will play fifth seeded Cuyahoga to see who will move further into the playoffs, which will be played at Ohio Christian University March 4.

For the women, they have a short break, and will play on March 4 against either Columbus State or Sinclair. That game will be decided after those two teams play, with the winner facing Owens. The women have a first round bye and the No. 1 seed after going undefeated in the conference for a second straight season. The team went 24-6 in the regular season. The postseason game will be played at Ohio Christian University for the Region XII District I Semifinals on March 4 at 1 p.m.

Single day tickets will be on sale for $5 at the door.
