Cold weather and light flurries added to the spirit of the community at what many consider one of Northwest Ohio’s biggest and best parades on Saturday.

The annual Chamber Holiday Parade of Bowling Green, Ohio was held on Main Street.

Community members gathered and bundled up in the bitter cold to watch over 10 marching bands, 40 floats and 140 units, along with multiple dance groups, scout troops, sports teams and other organizations travel down the center of town to kick off the holiday season.

Owens Community College was represented with their student driver semi-truck, and a few other volunteer students and faculty.

If you missed the parade, you can watch it during one of the several viewings on the local Bowling Green PBS station through November and December.
